2023 Subaru Outback Redesign
Exterior Design
The designers at Subaru must have canceled all their vacations to rework the 2023 Subaru Outback Changes on the outer section. When the Subaru Outback transitioned into its sixth-gen in 2023, it also got some cosmetic upgrades. However, Subaru has redesigned its outward cues to remain competitive in today’s market.
The grille, lower body cladding, front bumper, taillights, and rear bumper were all redesigned, as was the lower body cladding. Subaru has decided to keep these new features for the 2023 model year because they are so fresh and well-liked. It impresses us with outstanding utility while being a lot more eye-candy than its contemporaries.
Interior Design
The interior of the 2023 Outback is one of the greatest on a Subaru and is a stunning environment. There is plenty of rigid plastic in the cabin, but most of it is pleasant to the touch, and other upmarket materials are employed to raise the cabin’s overall atmosphere. The inside was completely redesigned for the 2023 Outback, which marked the start of a new era. The crossover’s interior was the primary focus of many of these alterations. New features for this year include the rear seat reminder and passenger seatbelt warning light.
The ride offers a total seating capacity of 5 people. The upholstery on the seats, dashboard, and door panels can be cloth or leather, depending on the trim. Both rows of seats are supportive and spacious enough to accommodate even the tallest passengers. An analog-digital driver display and a classic multifunction steering wheel are included, as is a big center console. The 11.6-inch touchscreen entertainment system is located in the dashboard’s center, giving it a premium appearance.
In this lineup, the Hyundai Santa Fe and the Subaru Outback offer the most space in the cabin. The 2023 Subaru Outback Changes also keep in mind in-vehicular entertainment for the passengers. This is why it comes with an 11.6-inch infotainment system from the Premium model onwards. For the most part, the 7-inch infotainment system on the Base trim is bare-bones. The audio system has between four and six speakers; however, the Harman Kardon Premium Sound System, with 12 speakers, is available in the higher trim levels.
2023 Subaru Outback Engine
After the generational transition in 2023, the Subaru Outback introduced two powertrain options depending on the trim levels. A 2.5L naturally aspirated boxer-4 engine in the standard non-XT models makes 182 horsepower, and torque of 176 lb-feet Starting at $35,145, a more powerful 2.4L turbocharged boxer-4 engine is available on all XT models. This powertrain cranks out a decent 260 horsepower and 277 lb-ft of torque. CVT gearboxes are used in both powertrains.
On the other hand, this CVT manages to simulate an 8-speed automatic transmission, so the “feel” of the drive is taken care of. Being a Subaru, the 2023 Outback also has the symmetrical AWD as standard. That being said, the Outback is actually not awful at dashing to 0-60 mph. With the naturally aspirated unit, the 2023 Outback will finish the 0-60 mph sprint in 8.5 seconds. In comparison, it takes 16.7 seconds to complete a quarter-mile. Thankfully this improves when you throw money and get the XT trims.
