2024 Subaru Crosstrek Redesign, Price, Concept – An excellent all-arounder, the 2024 Subaru Crosstrek is an excellent choice for families. It’s not the finest crossover to drive, but it’s an enjoyable little SUV to drive. Its cabin is roomy and luxurious enough not to leave you regretting your purchase. It’s also easy to use and functional, thanks to Crosstrek’s technology. Nutritionist diets tend to be unbalanced, but this one is.
Subaru redesigned the Crosstrek for 2024 to stay up with the Hondas, Toyotas, and Fords of the world by adding additional electronics, a new engine, and even some revised looks. While none of these improvements are revolutionary, they serve to elevate an already decent product to new heights.
2024 Subaru Crosstrek Redesign
Exterior Design
Steering is standard on the 2024 Subaru Crosstrek. Having said that, the vehicle does not feel any worse than any other car-based utility vehicle. Although the gear ratio isn’t too sluggish, don’t anticipate a razor-sharp edge or even a hint of road feel.
Good bucket seats support the driver and the front passenger. Like many other features of this Subaru, the seats are comfy and friendly, but they fall short of brilliance. My tester, even in Limited trim, has any lumbar support that can be adjusted. Adults will like the spaciousness of the rear, which has enough legroom but could use a little more headroom. All of the Crosstrek’s seats have lower cushions that are raised slightly above the floor, making them around chair height. As a result, getting in and out of the car is a breeze.
The remainder of the Subaru’s interior is extremely beautiful, as is the rest of the vehicle. The leather on the seats and steering wheel has a nice hand feel to it, and the low-gloss soft plastics are widely employed throughout the cabin. There are a lot of well-made switches and knobs here, and I like how the contrast color is used elegantly. To provide a splash of color, my tester’s leather-covered seats include orange stitching, which is visible even through the perforations.
Interior Design
The infotainment system on this Subaru is decent but not outstanding, like the rest of the car. The 8-inch touchscreen on my Limited tester is vibrant and simple to use (lesser models feature a 6.5-inch display). A pinch-to-zoom on the navigation map is fine, but moving icons on the home screens is a pain and there are bizarre input delays when using Apple CarPlay, which, along with Android Auto, is standard equipment on every Crosstrek model.
Although this vehicle’s eight-speaker Harman Kardon premium sound system isn’t anything special, our Subaru Outback long-term tester has a far superior sound system. Wax-cylinder recordings have superior sound quality than this, and I’ve heard examples of them.
Adaptive headlights, keyless entry, and push-button start are just a few of the features that come standard on the Limited trim level to make the experience even better. At this pricing point, there’s a lot to be thrilled about in terms of equipment. Additionally, it has a 6.5-inch touchscreen, automated temperature control, and Subaru’s EyeSight safety package. A new StarTex® water-repellent upholstery with bright yellow contrast stitching is included in the Sport variant.
2024 Subaru Crosstrek Engine
Under the hood, there has been a significant shift. Sport and Limited versions of the 2.5-liter boxer-four are available. The 182 hp and 176 lb-ft of torque produced by this engine are 30 and 31 greater than those of the standard 2.0-liter H4. My top-of-the-line Crosstrek offers decent acceleration when paired with a standard continuously variable gearbox (a six-speed manual is available). However, this Subaru’s performance is a little underwhelming in a world when so many cars are equipped with turbocharged engines, which normally deliver plenty of low and intermediate torque. There is still room for improvement, even with this minor increase in power.
