2024 Subaru Legacy Redesign, Review, Specs – Subaru is a well-known brand because of its iconic WRX rally car, often considered the best alternative to Mitsubishi’s beloved Lancer Evo line of vehicles. The company is responsible for producing the popular Outback SUV, etc. In the sedan market, this manufacturer has a product called 2024 Subaru Legacy. As its four-cylinder engine is known, the Subaru Boxer provides the vehicle’s motivation. Both available four-cylinder engines a 2.5-liter unit with normally aspirated pistons and a 2.4-liter one with turbocharging seem very potent.
2024 Subaru Legacy Redesign
Exterior Design
The 2024 Subaru Legacy design remains unchanged, and the automobile has been criticized for its lackluster aesthetic. However, the 2023 Legacy underwent modifications that made it seem more refined and muscular in profile, yet there has yet to be a suggestion for a redesign for the 2024 Legacy. Even though it competes against vehicles with far more extreme designs, this vehicle looks excellent as-is and doesn’t need any significant cosmetic updates.
The Subaru is the heaviest, narrowest, and shortest car in this comparison, but it has the most diminutive wheelbase and the highest center of gravity. Hence, it handles better than the Honda. The Hyundai has the highest center of gravity, the most extended wheelbase, and the exact ground clearance as the Subaru Legacy, but it doesn’t quite match the Legacy’s size.
The 2024 Subaru Legacy has a sleek and dynamic design language that brings forth the vehicle’s genuine character, making it one of the best-looking vehicles on the market. The Legacy is aesthetically pleasing, looking both luxurious and athletic. There are seven color options for the 2024 Legacy; however, not all of them may be available depending on the trim level you pick. The Legacy’s cabin is more significant than average for a car of its size, but its external dimensions and wheelbase are the lowest.
A sport front grille, Crystal Black Silica mirror caps, a sport rear bumper, Black metallic-finish aluminum-alloy wheels, and a trunk spoiler are all included with the Sport model. Some unique visual enhancements are formed only on the top-tier Touring XT model; these include Crystal Black Silica pillar trim, power-folding mirrors finished in Satin chrome, and door handles painted to match the body. Regarding its aesthetic appeal, the Subaru Legacy gets an A+.
Interior Design
Very little has changed inside since last year. The car’s interior is well-built and worth the asking price. The upper trims have weather upholstery and the great use of soft-touch plastics. Cloth upholstery is used for the lower trims, and red contrast stitching distinguishes the Sport trim for its dynamic vibe.
Premium leather upholstery is standard in the Limited and Limited XT trims, while Nappa Leather is standard in the top-of-the-line Touring XT model. The front seats are heated, soft, and comfy; they also provide enough head- and legroom and can be adjusted electrically (a feature that is standard in the sport trim and higher) for the driver. Even with a full load, the automobile still provides a pleasant ride.
There is more excellent headroom in the front and back of the Sonata but more shoulder room in the Accord. Regarding trunk space, the Honda looks to give the most, while the Subaru delivers the least, at 15.1 cubic feet. The Sonata has more excellent headroom in the front and back, while the Accord has more shoulder room. The Accord also has more cargo space than the Subaru, at 15.1 cubic feet, but the Subaru is in a sweet spot between the Honda and the Hyundai.
The Harman Kardon Surround Sound System with 10 Speakers is available with Limited and higher trim levels. You can connect your phone, music player, and other devices using Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as Bluetooth, USB, and an audio input jack (AUX) on both systems, and they’re both easy to use. To justify the increased cost, more and more bells and whistles are included in higher-tier packages as we travel up the trim ladder.
2024 Subaru Legacy Engine
Nothing has changed with the 2024 Legacy compared to the 2023 model; there are now two engine options: a 2.4L turbocharged power unit for the touring and Limited XT trims and a 2.5L customarily aspirated inline-four engine for the other four trims. The car’s powertrain is sufficient, with 260 horsepower and 277 lb-ft of torque. The Legacy is the only vehicle available with an all-wheel-drive system and has the most horsepower and torque. The Sonata is the only vehicle with a 6-speed automatic transmission, while the other have 8-speed units. There is a standard engine between the Hyundai and the Honda, but the Subaru’s engine is more significant.
2024 Subaru Legacy Price and Release Date
The base price of a Legacy four-door sedan is $22,995, with the fully equipped model costing $36,195. The Legacy can now compete with other mid-size cars like the Honda Accord and the Hyundai Sonata at this pricing. Subaru’s excellent and popular Legacy and Outback models will be available to purchase before the end of the summer.
