2024 Subaru Outback Redesign, Colors, Review – The revised and improved 2024 Subaru Outback Redesign will hit the market next year. This vehicle has a superb cabin, standard all-wheel drive, and a rugged exterior design. As with its predecessor, the new model will seem more like a station wagon than an SUV. We anticipate the Outback portfolio will remain the same in 2024, while regular tweaks and updates are expected. Despite decorative updates, the Outback capacity will attach to the tried and true flat-four-cylinder engines. The Outback comes standard with a 2.5-liter engine good for 183 horsepower, while the optional 2.4-liter turbocharged engine is good for 260.

Exterior Design
The 2024 Subaru Outback Redesign was just redesigned this year. No significant shifts are anticipated in 2024. Our sources tell us that the new model’s updated grille, hood, and headlights will make up most of the front fascia’s visual changes. But the brand-new Wildnerness finish is the show-stopper. This version will have a higher profile and improved aesthetics than the standard variant. The Wildnerness edition includes a top rack with up to 700 pounds and more expansive, all-terrain Yokohama tires.
We won’t be making any adjustments to the fundamentals of the design. The sixth-generation Subaru Outback will enter its second full manufacturing year in 2024. You may expect similar mechanics built on the company’s new modular architecture but otherwise identical to Legacy. Much has stayed the same from the previous generation in sheet metal, but there have been some substantial improvements. In typical Subaru fashion, the makeover was evolutionary, bringing forth only cosmetic modifications.
Conversely, the mechanical side has undergone extensive revisions. As a bonus, the new model has more room inside and weighs less than its predecessors. The new platform has also brought noticeable improvements to the engine and transmission. A well-known four-cylinder engine with natural aspiration has been modernized. In addition to the updated CVT, a new turbo-four engine is available.
Interior Design
The 2024 Subaru Outback Redesign, like the current model, will borrow heavily from the Legacy’s cabin. Overall, the interiors of both models are spacious and well-appointed. Further, even the entry-level version of this SUV is loaded with many features from the factory. Every Outback has dual-zone temperature management, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, heated front seats, and many USB connections.
Furthermore, high-end options like an 11.6-inch vertically oriented touchscreen, heated steering wheel, vented front seats, heated rear seats, and power-adjustable front-passenger seat are still available as add-ons. There is an increased 1.4 inches of legroom in the 2024 Outback compared to the previous model. Folding the back seats down increases the volume to 33 cubic feet.
The Outback comes equipped with advanced safety and driver-aid technologies as standard equipment, including a forward collision warning and automatic emergency braking system, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring, and adaptive cruise control. No major internal shifts are on the horizon, either. In light of the new model’s luxurious cabin, that’s not a terrible thing at all. In the past, Subaru models were known for their barebones cabins made entirely of hard plastics.
Things have changed drastically, with newer versions like the Outback boasting luxurious cabins. The quality of the materials is excellent, and the design is aesthetically pleasing. Further, many essential and optional options, particularly technological ones, render the inside as plush as the exterior. This crossover holds up rather well in terms of volume. Legroom in both rows is relatively spacious, and there is also plenty of headroom. Expect 32.5 cubic feet of storage space below the second row and 75.7 cubic feet total. In comparison to the rest of the class, these grades are excellent.
2024 Subaru Outback Engine
The following 2024 Subaru Outback Redesign will keep the same flat-four-cylinder engines as its predecessor. The latest generation of Outback is driven by a 2.5-liter engine that generates 183 horsepower. Optionally, you may have a 2.4-liter turbocharged engine that produces 260 horsepower. There will be a single gearbox that can accommodate both engines (CVT). Furthermore, an all-wheel drive system is standard on all Subaru Outback models. Subaru claims that the base model Outback can tow up to 2700 pounds, while the turbocharged version can haul about 3500 pounds.
2024 Subaru Outback Price and Release Date
Despite the updates and revisions, the most exciting development is that Subaru will add a more rugged Wilderness trim to its Outback portfolio. According to rumors, this version will include a higher ride height, a more refined suspension, and updated aesthetics. The Wilderness version adds $10,000 to the initial price of $28,000. At the top of the line is the Touring XT, which, with a few add-ons, can easily hit $42,000. New Outback sales are expected to start in the second quarter of 2024.
