Subaru Crosstrek 2023 Release Date, Price, Interior – When a car is in its fifth year of manufacturing, it’s easy to predict that the Subaru Crosstrek 2023 will include significant upgrades. We’re about to see a complete overhaul, to be exact. We have high hopes for this project, which should result in several positive changes. When the new model is ready to go into production, we won’t be able to view any images of it.
By our estimates, the Subaru Crosstrek 2023 will go on sale in the latter half of 2022. For sure, the smaller 2.0-liter engine won’t be available anymore. While the platform will increase torsional rigidity and make the ride even better, we also expect evolutionary improvements in aesthetics. The venue is the first thing that springs to mind while discussing this new design. The Japanese company will introduce a new architecture, which is also modular and underpins several Subaru vehicles starting with their new WRX.
The new platform will have a positive impact on a variety of areas. Stiffness, for example, will help to handle corners and improve ride quality. A new suspension system is expected, but it shouldn’t be radically different from the previous model.
Subaru Crosstrek 2023 Redesign
Exterior Design
When it comes to Subaru automobiles, there are no significant alterations. This won’t be the case with the Subaru Crosstrek 2023, and we have no doubt it will continue to improve on the current model. We expect to see minor changes, such as new bumpers and headlights and grille revisions. The Wilderness version is also likely to be available with this crossover. Starting with higher ground clearance, updated tires and wheels, and revised bumpers for better approach and departure angles are some of the off-road features included in this model.
The new model may perhaps be slightly larger than the existing one. For comparison, the outgoing model has a wheelbase of 105.1 inches and a length of 175.8 inches. By 2023, expect the Subaru Crosstrek to grow longer and more comprehensive. In a moment, we’ll talk about how the new Crosstrek will be more spacious and comfortable on the inside.
The new platform now serves as the foundation for the current design. However, it hasn’t undergone a significant transformation in terms of exterior design from its predecessor. The taillights have been widened, making the vehicle longer and broader. We also noticed a new grille and “hawk-eye” headlamps on the front section. As a result, the Subaru Crosstrek for 2023 will likely keep the same design.
Interior Design
The interior, of course, will be entirely redesigned. We don’t anticipate any significant alterations this time around, as the current model already has a really appealing interior. The dashboard is visually appealing, and the materials and overall craftsmanship of the vehicle are also impressive. As you can expect, the new model will include even more technological advancements, including a larger touchscreen and a more comprehensive range of networking options. There’s little doubt that the 2023 Subaru Crosstrek will come standard with safety measures.
Aside from what we’ve just said, the next generation is likely to be slightly larger. Because of this, we may see a minor increase in passenger space, although the present model already has a good amount of room. The same holds true for the cargo compartment. Behind the rear seats, the current model has 20.8 cubic feet of cargo space and 55.3 cubic feet of storage space. For the segment, those are good figures to have.
The 2023 Subaru Crosstrek can seat up to five passengers with two rows of seats, just like the current model. Improved comfort and additional features have been added to the current model. Every model has a 6.5-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, leather upholstery, Bluetooth, 17-inch alloy wheels, and split-folding rear seats, among other things. There will also be heated front seats and mirrors, a sunroof, and a giant touchscreen in the Premium model. The Limited edition will include an 18-inch wheelset with leather and Harman Kardon premium audio.
Subaru Crosstrek 2023 Engine
The standard 2.0-liter engine is expected to be dropped from the lineup in favor of a larger 2.5-liter flat-four producing 182 horsepower, as predicted by the Japanese automaker. The engine is paired with a CVT gearbox, which provides a smooth and engaging driving experience. City and highway fuel economy ratings are 27 mpg and 34 mpg, respectively. Those are good results, especially when considering the vehicle’s basic all-wheel-drive system.
A hybrid model is also on the way, and we expect it to be an improvement over the current version. The current model has a plug-in hybrid setup that generates 148 horsepower when the two engines are running at full power. The combined mpg is around 35 mpg, which is excellent. Additionally, the current model’s all-electric driving range is approximately 17 miles.
Subaru Crosstrek 2023 Price and Release Date
The Subaru Crosstrek 2023 is expected to be on sale in the second half of 2022, at the latest. A starting price of $23,000 is reasonable. The Honda HR-V, Hyundai Kona, and Chevy TraiBlazer are possible competitors.
